Calmist (“we”, “us”) provides Vedic astrology reports, chat, puja bookings, and 1-on-1 sessions at mycalmist.com. This policy explains what we collect and why. Contact: [email protected].

Information we collect

Account details: mobile number, optional email, display name.
Birth details you enter for a profile: date, time, and place of birth, used to calculate charts.
Session booking details: chosen time, phone number for WhatsApp or the call, and email for calendar invites.
Payment identifiers from Razorpay (order and payment ids). We do not store full card numbers.
Usage analytics via PostHog (page views and product events). Session replay, if enabled, masks input text.

Google Calendar (astrologer host only)

Customers who book a session never sign in with Google. Only a Calmist operator connects the astrologer’s Google Calendar so we can:

Read busy times (calendar.readonly) to avoid double-booking.
Create calendar events and Google Meet links (calendar.events) for video sessions on the astrologer’s calendar.

We store an encrypted refresh token for that host calendar. We do not request Gmail, Drive, or contacts. You can disconnect Google from Admin; that deletes the stored token.

WhatsApp and email

If you book a session, we may send booking, reminder, reschedule, and cancellation messages to the number and email you provide, using WhatsApp Cloud API and Brevo.

How we use data

To create your account, generate astrological charts and reports, take payment, schedule sessions, send transactional messages, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal data.

Sharing

We share data with processors who run the service: Supabase (database and auth), Razorpay (payments), Brevo (email), Meta WhatsApp Cloud API, Google Calendar (host sessions), PostHog (analytics), and cloud hosting (Cloudflare and Google Cloud). They receive only what is needed to perform that function.

Retention

We keep account, profile, booking, and report records while your account is active and as required for payments, support, and law. You can ask us to delete your account by emailing [email protected].
